ABOUT

My name is Jennifer Moody. I am a plant ecologist with a love for the native plants of Midwest, Great Plains, and beyond. I am also an educator with a passion for sharing the beauty and wonder of our natural world with students of all ages. My diverse experience grows out of my adaptability in applying my knowledge and skills to novel situations. Currently, I am working to restore the woods where I live outside of St. Louis, removing invasive shrubs like honeysuckle and privet, replacing them with native trees, shrubs and wildflowers.  Outside of work, I enjoy photography, fiber arts, target archery, medieval historical recreation, and watercolor painting.
